LIVE & INTERACTIVE WEBINARS

While nothing compares to our in-person events, where attendees can earn Continuing Education hours and build a valuable statewide network of industry peers, GFDA is aware not all funeral staff can step away from the funeral home to attend our events held across the state. We have partnered with Continuing Vision for a NEW MEMBER BENEFIT. This partnership allows us to provide you and your staff NEW opportunities to earn Continuing Education Hours and GFDA Members receive discounted registration fees.

Continuing Vision, a provider of the highest quality continuing education credits since 2007, offers relevant topics in a variety of subjects with real value; knowledgeable, expert presenters; and live webinars.  The webinars below have been approved by the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service.

Upcoming Webinars

  • September 22, 2023 - Bloodborne Pathogens
  • September 27, 2023 - The Funeral Rule FTC

As a reminder, the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service has changed its Continuing Education requirements.
The hours required biennially have not changed, however, the Board now requires that at least five (5) hours of the total ten (10) hours required be obtained
in-person or via live webinar that is instructor led with student interaction, where student participation is monitored and verified.
