GFDA District meetings are always a great opportunity to renew friendships, enjoy a meal together, and learn about current funeral profession topics. We are excited to announce that our 2025 District Meetings will be held this November in all six districts from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Our featured programs will be “OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, & Updates” presented by Brad Kuchnicki, Executive Director with The Independent Funeral Group and "The Disconnect Dilemma: A New Playbook for Cremation" presented by Christi Moon Robbins, Marketing and Member Relations with The Independent Funeral Group. These engaging workshops will offer a morning session and afternoon session for a total of four (4) hours of continuing education credit, along with a dedicated lunch break for connecting with suppliers and colleagues. During the District meetings, GFDA will be offering a 5% discount on our 2026 membership dues. This is the perfect time to save money and be a part of part of an active, well-known association that protects and promotes the interests of funeral service, its members, and the communities they serve.
The discounted GFDA Membership dues period will be from November 1 – November 30, 2025.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors, there will be no charge for GFDA Funeral Director Members. Non-members are also welcome to join us (for a nominal fee).
We will have a dedicated lunch with our sponsors. Even if you can only come for one session, we would love to see you there. Event check-in and on-site registration will begin at 9:30 am. In addition to our programs, attendees will receive updates from the GFDA Executive Committee, NFDA, and learn more about the GFDA Marketing Alliance Partners, Choice Colleagues, and District Meeting Sponsors. GFDA has applied for four (4) Hours of Continuing Education.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to allow us to prepare our meal and seating headcounts. You may use the printable form (follow the instructions) or by our Online Attendee Registration. Please allow 48 hours to process your registration while meetings are being held.
NOTE: Payment is expected prior to events.
Checks should be made payable to GFDA or Georgia Funeral Directors Association and mailed to P.O. Box 1865, Roswell, GA 30077. For credit card payments, an invoice will be sent to you via email and you can directly from the invoice.
