Bruce Goddard will be joining us for our dinner portion of the meetings. He will be presenting Things that Never Change in a Changing Profession. Drawing on nearly five decades in funeral service, Bruce offers a practical, personal, and often humorous look at the profession from the perspective of a fourth-generation funeral director. Through powerful true stories and lessons learned during a career that ranged from owning two rural Georgia funeral homes to overseeing funeral homes and cemeteries across the country, Bruce reminds funeral professionals why their work matters, challenges them to remain relevant in a changing profession, and shares his belief that while funeral service continues to change, some things never change.
