Full Time Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Southern Cremations & Funerals is hiring for a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. 

General Duties/Responsibilities - Including, but not limited to:

  • Funeral Directing
  • Embalming
  • Facilitating preneed arrangements
  • Directing and overseeing funerals, viewings and visitations, and all other aspects of the service
  • Preparing the deceased for burial cremation, viewing, etc.
  • Knowledge of, and compliance with, all Federal, State, and local laws pertinent to providing funeral services, including FTC and OSHA
Requirements:
  • Current Georgia State Funeral Director License (or ability to reciprocate from another state) 
  • Current Georgia State Embalmer License (or ability to reciprocate from another state) 
  • Valid driver’s license and clear driving record. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors is hiring for a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. 

General Duties/Responsibilities - Including, but not limited to:

  • Arrangement Conferences 
  • Funeral Directing Embalming 
  • Crematory Operations 
  • Nightly On-Call Rotation 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer in Georgia 
  • Dually Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer in South Carolina a plus 5 years of experience 
  • Experience in medium to large market preferred 
  • Community Oriented
  • Outgoing individual with a desire to continue growth of our firm
