Mrs. Doris “Dotty” T. Putnam age 93 of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. 

Mrs. Putnam had been employed by the City of Smyrna in the Tax Dept. before retiring. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son Steven T. Putnam.

Surviving are: Son-David (Rhonda) Putnam of Douglasville, Sister-Marjorie Turner Thornton of Douglasville, Daughter-in-law-Margie Putnam of Winston, 4 Grandchildren-Brian T. (Tracy) Putnam of Douglasville, Melissa Putnam of Austell, Jamie Garner of Powder Springs, Malena (Brett) Rice of Villa Rica and several great and great-great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, October 20th at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. 
A graveside service will be held 2 PM Friday, October 21st at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Billy Raburn officiating.
