Ben Stewart, age 18, of Dacula passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lawrenceville Church of God. Ben’s scout leaders will serve as speakers. The family will receive friends from 4-9 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home 300 Simonton Road S.W. Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-962-3100. 

Ben started a lifelong scouting career with pack 529 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dacula. He then proceeded to Boy Scouts with troop 514 at Fairview Presbyterian Church in Lawrenceville. He received his Eagle Scout award on March 29, 2015 after mapping out Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lawrenceville. He was a 2016 Honor graduate of Archer High School in Lawrenceville and was currently attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA where he was a member of the Epsilon Tau Pi Eagle Scout Fraternity.

He is survived by; Parents: Frankie & Tricia Stewart of Dacula; Sister: Heidi Stewart of Dacula; Paternal Grandparents: Tim & Gay Stewart of Lawrenceville; Maternal Grandparents: Jeff & Irene Bryant of Dacula; Paternal Great Grandmother: Margie Stewart of Lawrenceville; Uncle & Aunt: Jason & Chasity Stewart of Monroe; Uncle: Jeff Bryant, Jr. of Dacula; Aunt & Uncle: Angela & Matt Dillard of Greer, SC; Cousins: Taylor & Chase Bryant, Destiny, Riley, Avery & Ellie Stewart.
