GFDA is proud to announce our NEWEST MEMBER BENEFIT! We have partnered with Continuing Vision, a provider of the highest quality continuing education credits since 2007. Continuing Vision offers relevant topics in a variety of subjects with real value; knowledgeable, expert presenters; and live webinars.

While nothing compares to our in-person events, where attendees can earn Continuing Education hours and build a valuable statewide network of industry peers, GFDA is aware not all funeral staff can step away from the funeral home to attend our events held across the state. Our partnership with Continuing Vision allows us to provide you and your staff NEW opportunities to earn Continuing Education Hours. As a bonus, current GFDA Members receive discounted registration fees.

As a reminder, the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service has changed its Continuing Education requirements. The hours required biennially have not changed, however, the Board now requires that at least five (5) hours of the total ten (10) hours required be obtained in-person or via live webinar that is instructor led with student interaction, where student participation is monitored and verified.

The Continuing Vision webinars below have been approved by the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service and meet the live webinar requirements.

We always hope to see you; however, this NEW member benefit provides those who are unable to join us for our in-person events a valuable and timely opportunity to earn Continuing Education Hours before the March 31, 2024 license renewal deadline.
