Mr. Robert Brady Humber, Sr. 74, of Buena Vista, GA, died Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Moon, Brian Morris, Hamp Butler, Ricky Maxwell, Jimmy Storey, Randy McCorkle, David Ellis, and Jimmy Howell.  The family will greet friends at Watson-Tante Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 6:00-8:00PM.

Mr. Humber was born in Taylor County, GA, on December 1, 1942, to Robert and Elise Williamson Humber.  He was Baptist by faith and a member of New Providence Baptist Church.  Brady was employed with Kimball Midwest as a salesman and had worked in the funeral industry over 50 years with Watson-Tante Funeral Home.  Prior to his employment with Kimball Midwest, he was the Parts Manager at Wight Motor Company and Parts and Service Manager at Bickerstaff Chevrolet. He was a member of the Marion County Zoning Board and former president of League 27 Baseball.  Brady loved spending time with his family and friends and always had a story to share. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Christian Humber, Jr. and Elise Williamson Stanford.

He is survived by his wife, Sherrill Humber of Buena Vista, GA; by two sons, Brad and Wendy Humber of Buena Vista, GA, and Brent and Christy Humber of Cusseta, GA; by a brother, David and Blakely Humber of Vienna, GA; and by four grandchildren, Harrison Humber, Blake Humber, Ashley Breland and Paul Breland.
