Funeral services for James Thomas (Jim) Jamerson, 63, of Pelham will be Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00AM at Union Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Doug Hall, Rev. Nathan Fowler, Rev. David Pickering and Rev. Donnie Wilkes will officiate with a private family interment. Pallbearers will be Turner Eubanks, Ricky Mash, Vic Hilliard, Matt Mobley, Tommy Palmer and Gary Humphries. Born March 19, 1954 in Camilla he was the son of the late Bryan Young Jamerson and Thelma Ester Dann. He was a retired self employed funeral director and former owner of Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Mr. Jamerson was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, Pelham City School Board, Pelham Masonic Lodge, Rotary, Mitchell County Coroner, Child Fatality Review Board, Pelham Booster Club, Pelham Chamber Citizen of the Year and Liberty Bell Award Winner. He was married for 36 years to Susan Patrice Freeman Jamerson who survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Wind Autry (Jason) of Hartsfield; Mandy Jamerson of Pelham, and Kaitlyn Hagan (Corky) of Pelham; Grandchildren, Leiana Jamerson, Thomas Eidson, Jacy Autry, Hobie Eidson, Aryen Hagan and Lane Hagan; sisters, Sharlene Whitney (Bob) of Irving TX; Jean Walker (Jack) of Abbeville; brothers, Charles Jamerson (Annie) of Pelham and a sister-in-law, Shea Vinson (Robert) of Baconton; and numerous nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a father-in-law, Felton Freeman. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital and Stitchers for Mitchell County 284 S Harney Street Camilla, Ga 31730. The family will receive friends at Union Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 6:00-8:00PM.  Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
