Any funeral establishment
holding a current license issued from a state licensing agency
is eligible for FIRM MEMBERSHIP in this Association. FIRM
MEMBERS shall have voting privileges in the Association, by
either open or secret ballot, but no member shall be entitled
to vote by proxy.
As a FIRM MEMBER, each firm is entitled to one vote. Employees
and additional staff of FIRM MEMBERS may attend Annual Conferences
and other meetings of this Association, but only one representative
of each firm shall have the privilege of voting on behalf
of such firm. Each person on record as the firm’s representative
shall hold a current funeral director’s license.
This directory also lists ASSOCIATE MEMBERS who work at the
funeral homes of FIRM MEMBERS. They are listed in this document
under the funeral homes at which they are employed. Any person
who is regularly and consecutively employed by a FIRM MEMBER
and endorsed by said FIRM MEMBER is eligible for ASSOCIATE
MEMBERSHIP in the Association. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS shall not
be entitled to vote, but may speak on the floor of the Annual
Conference.
If such ASSOCIATE MEMBER leaves the employ of the FIRM MEMBER
endorsing his/her membership, his/her ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
shall be immediately terminated.
