The Georgia Funeral Directors Association is committed to serving our members, and promoting the funeral profession in both the state and the nation. Certainly, the work we do cannot be undertaken without your support. GFDA maintains segregated funds designated as the Scholarship Fund, the Building Fund, and PAC funds. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund or Scholarship Fund to remember a deceased individual or to honor a living person.  When you remember someone in this way, GFDA sends a personalized letter to the family of the individual alerting them to your donation.  You will also receive an acknowledgment letter thanking you for your donation and letting you know the letter has also been sent to the family. 

• The Scholarship Fund is used to provide two (2) $1000 scholarships each year--one to each of the mortuary colleges in the state of Georgia. 
• The Building Fund is used to accept donations that go toward the mortgage of the GFDA office in Roswell, GA.

PAC funds are donations received from individuals that support candidates for state or national elected office that are important to the stability and well-being of funeral service.  The PAC can accept only individual contributions; it cannot accept corporate/company monies or checks.
